Kristen Ossmann started Pretty Streets Botanicals in 2011 from her Brooklyn apartment growing flowers in her backyard.  In the winter of 2010 when she was planning out the garden for spring, she thought how amazing it would be to start growing flowers to sell and have a flower stand for the upcoming season. That summer she set up shop in front of Bedford Cheese Shop and sold bouquets created with flowers from local farmers markets and ones grown in her garden. She began developing her lush and wild designs that elegantly reflect the seasonality of the Northeast.

The flower stand was a success and has since grown into a full service design studio providing artful arrangements for events, weddings, photo shoots, private homes, and businesses. Pretty Streets also provides garden design services -specializing in container gardens, as well as flower and herb cutting gardens.

Based in Brooklyn, Pretty Streets Botanicals has been featured in Vogue, The Kitchn, Design Sponge, ELLE Korea, Pure Green Magazine, among others. We've also collaborated with photographers Collier Schorr, Nicole Franzen and Alice Gao and styled shoots and events for brands such as Hermes, Nordstrom and Everlane.
